Health Day at FIS – Hygiene and Immune Strength in Times of Corona

09/18/2020
At this year's health day, FIS takes up the hygiene issue, which is highly topical due to Corona. With a newly developed safety concept and in cooperation with the BARMER health insurance company, another successful health day takes place.

Especially this year, we are reminded once again how important health is. The topic of hygiene is more present than ever in 2020 and is not only redefined, but also lived. For this reason, FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH and the BARMER health insurance company developed a suitable concept on “The skin and the immune system” this year. The employees could participate in four different programs: In her lecture “Our skin – outer shell and natural protective shield”, our speaker Dr. Eigner addressed, for instance, the functions of the skin, how it can be strengthened and properly cared for. The skin topic was also the focus of the allergy mobile: In a skin function measurement, the employees were able to have the fat and moisture content of the skin determined. To get through the cold season healthy and strengthened, the customer lounge featured an exhibition on healthy food, an interactive station for washing hands properly and a superfood bar organized by trainees. In the end, BARMER distributed a nasal rinsing pot to all interested participants and explained its effect against cold diseases and pollen flight.

Thanks to the successful safety concept and the necessary protective measures – a combination of participant limits, fixed time slots, one-way street system and mandatory mouth and nose protection – FIS was able to hold a successful 2020 health day despite restrictions imposed by Corona.
